About Larry Broughton…
Award-winning serial entrepreneur, best-selling author and former Special Forces Operator (The Green Berets) Larry Broughton, shares heart-warming & humorous lessons on leadership, failure, tenacity, and the power of effective teams. Larry inspires audiences to defy the odds. After growing up in a small mill town in rural western New York, he spent eight years with the US Army’s elite Special Forces, commonly known as the Green Berets. During this time, he was awarded Outstanding Non-Commissioned Officer of his battalion and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Larry has parlayed his unique experience of serving on Special Forces A-Teams to the business world. He is now Co-Founder & CEO of BROUGHTONadvisory (a strategic planning, elite team-building, and transformational leadership training organization with clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups, to The Pentagon and Turner Broadcasting), and broughtonHOTELS. Since its inception, his firm has received numerous awards for performance, and is considered a leader in the boutique hotel industry.
